FAU status

Zur Diagnose von Hardware-Problemen mit unserem Server müssen wir nächste Woche Mittwoch, den 2022-06-22 von 10 Uhr bis 12 Uhr unseren Server ausstellen. In dieser Zeit sind dann alle Services der FAU-IT nicht erreichbar.

We’re currently having hardware problems with our server. To diagnose what’s up, we have to switch off our server next wednesday, 2022-06-22 from 10 am until noon. During this time all services of FAU IT will be unavailable.

Am Samstag, 21.05.2022 (11:30 bis ca 13:00) werden am Server Wartungsarbeiten durchgeführt. Nextcloud wird in dieser Zeit sproradisch nicht erreichbar sein.

On Sunday 2022-05-21 (11h30 to 13h00) the Nextcloud server will be down sporadically due to maintenance work.

Um die Sicherheitslücke CVE-2022-0847 zu schließen, müssen heute Nacht alle unsere Server neu gestartet werden. Dadurch kommt es ab circa 23:00 zu einem Ausfall aller Dienste. Bis 24:00 sollte alles wieder laufen.

To close the security flaw CVE-2022-0847, we have to reboot all our servers this night. This will lead to a downtime of all our services starting from about 11 pm. Everything should be back again until midnight.

Die Wartungsarbeiten auf Nextcloud sind abgeschlossen und der Server ist wieder online.

Maintenance on the nextcloud server has been finished and the server is online again.

Leider musste Nextcloud wegen dringender Wartungsarbeiten kurzzeitig vom Netz genommen werden. Akeutell wird daran gearbeitet, dass der Server so schnell wie möglich wieder online geht.

Nextcloud is currently offline due to urgent maintenance work. Hopefully, it will be up again soon.

Am Sonntag, 06.03.2022 (10:00 bis ca 12:00) werden am Server Wartungsarbeiten durchgeführt. Nextcloud wird in dieser Zeit sproradisch nicht erreichbar sein.

Sonntag abend (2022-01-02) zwischen 22 Uhr und 24 Uhr gibt es einen reboot und dafür gehen alle Dienste für circa 15 Minuten aus.

Sunday night (2022-01-02) between 10pm and midnight there will be a reboot. During the reboot, all services will be down for about 15 minutes.

In der Nacht von Mittwoch auf Donnerstag (2021-12-23) zwischen 0 Uhr und 2 Uhr gibt es einen reboot und dafür gehen alle Dienste für circa 15 Minuten aus.

In the night from Wednesday to Thursday (2021-12-23) between 12pm and 2am there will be a reboot. During the reboot, all services will be down for about 15 minutes.

E-Mails von und an t-online.de-Adresse werden wieder normal schnell zugestellt.

Mails from and to t-online.de mail addresses are delivered as usual again.

Wir haben zur Zeit Probleme mit den Mail-Servern von t-online.de, so dass Mails von fau-Adressen an t-online-Adressen noch nicht zugestellt werden. Wir haben t-online für eine Lösung kontaktiert, können aber nicht sagen, wann das Problem gelöst ist.

At the moment, we have problems with the mail servers of t-online.de, so that mails from fau mail addresses to t-online mail addresses can’t be delivered. We have contacted t-online to solve the problems, but can’t say how long it will take to find a solution.
