FAU status

Wir haben zur Zeit Probleme mit den Mail-Servern von t-online.de, so dass Mails von fau-Adressen an t-online-Adressen noch nicht zugestellt werden. Wir haben t-online für eine Lösung kontaktiert, können aber nicht sagen, wann das Problem gelöst ist.

At the moment, we have problems with the mail servers of t-online.de, so that mails from fau mail addresses to t-online mail addresses can’t be delivered. We have contacted t-online to solve the problems, but can’t say how long it will take to find a solution.

Die Umstellung ist fertig und die neue Accountverwaltung ist jetzt unter accounts.fau.org benutzbar. Für Fragen, Anmerkungen, Fehler und ähnliches benutzt bitte das Forum. Ein Handbuch was die meisten Fragen beantworten sollte ist dort auch zu finden.

The move to the new user management system is done. You can find it at accounts.fau.org. Questions, remarks, errors and similar can be discussed at the forum. A german handbook which should answer most questions is available there.

Wie angekündigt wird jetzt das LDAP abgeschaltet und im laufe des Tages durch die neue Accountverwaltung ersetzt.

Am Dienstag, 21.12.2021 (10:00 bis ca 13:00) werden am Server Wartungsarbeiten durchgeführt. Nextcloud wird in dieser Zeit sproradisch nicht erreichbar sein.

On Tuesday 2021-12-21 (10h00 to 13h00) the Nextcloud server will be down sporadically due to maintenance work.

Der Umzug des Mail-Servers ist jetzt wirklich geschaffts, diesmal auch mit allen Mails.

Moving of the mail server is now really finished, this time without missing mails.

Das hat doch nicht so ganz geklappt mit dem Übertragen aller E-Mails beim ersten Versuch. Wir arbeiten dran. Solange sind die Mail-Server leider weiter nicht erreichbar.

Synchronizing mails didn’t work out in the first try. We are working on it. Meanwhile, the mail servers are down.

Die Mail-Server sind wieder online. Mails, die von außen kommen können noch verspätet eintreffen, spätestens morgen sollten alle Mails, die heute kamen, aber da sein. Am webmail arbeiten wir noch.

Mail servers are back online. Mails from external senders can be delayed, but tomorrow all of them should arrive, at the latest. We are still working on bringing webmail back online.

Wir ziehen den mail server auf einen neuen Server um, währenddessen ist alles, was mit mails zu tun hat (webmail, mail per thunderbird, usw.) down. Wir hoffen, dass alles so bis 14:00 wieder da ist, kann aber auch später werden.

We are moving the mail server to a new physical server. During the move everything which has to do with mails (webmail, mails via thunderbird, etc.) is down. We hope that everything is up again at 2 pm, but it may take longer.
